Complete Building Solutions was founded by Phil West in 2002 after a personal experience highlighted the need for a better way to build. While expecting their first child, Phil and his wife hired a builder for their home project. What should have been an exciting time quickly became stressful, with poor communication, unclear pricing, and avoidable delays. 

Determined to do things differently, Phil created a company that prioritises clients, delivers projects smoothly, and ensures peace of mind at every stage.

Two decades later, that vision has become a reality. From one family’s frustration, Complete Building Solutions has grown into one of Surrey’s most trusted names in construction — completing over 400 builds, achieving an A1 NHBC rating, and earning a reputation for craftsmanship, reliability, and exceptional results. Today, our portfolio spans everything from bespoke family homes to large-scale commercial developments, all delivered with the same commitment to quality and care.
