KITCHEN AND SUN ROOM
These clients loved entertaining and gardening so wanted a space where they could fully enjoy these hobbies.
We provided a new oak and granite kitchen with stainless steel appliances, opened up the back of the kitchen by installing a hardwood conservatory with solar reflective glass, laid under floor heating and tiled through the two rooms.
To enable this part of the project to succeed we had to rebuild the corners of the house to take the weight of the huge lintel that spanned the new opening.
We also had to make sure that the insulation levels in other parts of the house were adjusted to comply with building regulations for the new combined space.
The client was delighted and has achieved the 'heart of the house' they were looking for.
Summer or winter it is a room they use all year round. It really does bring the outside in.
