ENERGY EFFICIENT HOME
As we are all becoming more aware of the need to be environmentally friendly, and as energy prices are ever increasing. We are finding that many of our clients are looking to make their homes as energy efficient as possible.

This can be achieved in various ways. We have vast experience in creating energy efficient homes, from simple additions like adding low-energy light bulbs through to building a virtually self sufficient home.

We have experience in installing the following:-

Solar photo voltaic - This system converts sunlight into electricity using roof or wall-mounted photovoltaic cells.

Solar water heating panels - Solar water heating systems that use roof-mounted panels to harness the sun's heat to warm up water.

Wind turbine - Roof or pole-mounted turbines that convert wind energy into electricity.

Ground source heat pumps - Pipes buried in the garden that extract heat from the ground to warm up water.

Air source heat pumps - This system absorbs heat from the outside air to warm up water.

Rainwater harvesting - Rainwater collected from the roof to help provide domestic water needs. In most cases it is used to supply water to the washing machine, garden taps and toilets.

Heat recovery ventilation systems -  This system is designed to completely change all the air in the property at least once every two hours, continually replacing the stale damp air with fresh, warmed, clean, filtered air.
